1973 Jensen Interceptor III 7300cc V8, 3 speed auto This is a very special car indeed According to JIA Banbury (The market leaders in Jensen restoration and sales) this is the only Mk3 interceptor with this Supercharged R-Spec dash as this vehicle was restored by the automotive designer that created it for JAI and fitted it to his own vehicle when undertaking the bare metal restoration. A very expensive upgrade. Restored by the Automotive designer and tuned by JAI around 3 years ago. This car is truly exceptional inside and out. Current previous owner has had fitted; New Edelbrock Carb Distributor, plugs and leads Oil and oil filter Uprated rear springs Rear caliber rebuild with new pistons New fully charged AC system The rear screen surround is bonded not bolted to stop the dreaded rot Only showing 1500 miles since restoration Original build notes from back in 1973 and photos of recent bare metal restoration Words from JIA Website: Restored over an extended period by the previous owner who is well known to us at JIA, this mechanically original Mk3 Interceptor has the unique benefit of incorporating the JIA Supercharged type dashboard. Whilst JIA had no significant part in the restoration of this car we were commissioned to get it running and driving after the body and interior work was completed.
