1957 Land Rover Series 1 88" This little beauty has been given a second wind, she was off the road since 1984 and in a wreck of a state. The previous owner bought her as a barn find project and work started to bring her back to life in 2015 There is actually a website that lists photos and in info from before work began. Finished Land-Rover Bronze Green with Old English White wheels New webber carb fitted 5 -  New tyres Kunifer brake lines New slave and master cylinders New springs and shock absorbers New, more comfy seats. Commercially bought reconditioned transfer box Rewired New lights A 2.25l petrol engine is fitted with alternator and control gear New fuel tank. New Front swivel hubs, with leather gaiters fitted to stop rusting on chrome hemispheres in future. New exhaust system and mounts Resprayed in correct bronze green new floor bearers New seats New wiring loom New alternator New Aluminium floor in rear tub riveted onto existing. New floor in driver and passengers side. All the new Aluminium panels is of the nearest comparable spec to the original Birmabright alloy. Good bulkhead and chassis has been welded and is presentable Fires on the button and ticks over nicely Come with a hard top in very good condition 3 previous owners She was one of a batch of Land Rovers bought by the Ministry of Defence.
