1935 Rolls-Royce 20-25HP Continental sports tourer, Freestone and Webb coachwork Where do I start with this beauty. She is 90 years old and drives better than some cars I have at a quarter of her age. She literally fires on the button and runs beautifully. Originally supplied by Jack Barkley (With original bill of sale and hand book) For the past six years, she has been with the loving Previous Owner treating her like one of the family, giving her the name 'Aunt Aggie' She was off the road for some 47 years from 1966 to 2013 and was with the same family since 1959, recommissioned over a couple of years starting in 2014 with over £50,000 being spent on mechanicals, while leaving the Bodywork and some of the interior with its original patina. Front seats have been re-upholstered while the rear have been left original. I feel you would be hard pushed to find another Rolls-Royce of this era in such original condition driving as good as she does. She comes with a large documented history file, including recent restoration, a copy of the original bill of sale and lots of paperwork and MOT's dating right back to the early 60's, a old buff logbook, an original Rolls-Royce 20-25HP handbook and a large photo album documenting her restoration. Full Rolls-Royce tool kit in the boot and deck Chairs. in excess of £50,000 has been spent on some excellent re-commissioning work, including an engine re-furbishment with new cylinder block, radiator re-core, keeping good temperature even in traffic, excellent quality re-wiring in correct, cotton-covered cable, rebuilt wheels with new period correct Blockley tyres, overdrive and a great deal more in the way of mechanical refreshing, stabilisation and preserving resulting in a sound, reliable, useable car, which has completed many events both in the UK and abroad with the previous owner. The cosmetics as a whole are very scruffy indeed, but utterly original. Good solid Ash frame and firm body. An honest and rare car with complete matching numbers even to under trays. Aunt Aggie is a wonderfully original old girl that out strips the 'Barn find' as a very competent and useable non molested and over restored example. In the early 50s she was in ownership down here in Bournemouth and she has now returned 70 odd years later. PX Welcome // Card Payment Accepted // Delivery Options Available
