I am very pleased to offer this exceptional example, of a 1937 Rolls Royce 25/30 with coach work by Hooper finished in the perfect colour combination of Piano Black and Old English White. This is a truly remarkable piece of craftsmanship. My father recently acquired this car, along with a 1948 Rover 60 P3, from a deceased estate, and it is immediately apparent that the previous owner had an eye for quality and sought out only the finest examples. The photographs speak for themselves. The bodywork is in excellent condition, with only the occasional minor blemish that you would have to actively look for. The interior is equally impressive; the leather shows some gentle signs of age, as you would expect, but remains in fantastic condition. A little leather treatment would have it looking almost as new. The woodwork is beautifully presented and unmarked, while the headlining is clean and well-kept. There are also two rear occasional seats for those times when extra passengers need to be accommodated. All of the original luxury accessories remain present and correct, including the decanter, perfume bottle, brush, silver cigarette box, and silver matchbox. The suicide doors close perfectly, with no rubbing on the running boards, and the engine bay is every bit as impressive as the rest of the car—clean, tidy, and beautifully presented. Having spent the last two years in storage, the car has recently been recommissioned and brought back to life. It runs and drives exactly as it should. It's true what they say— they simply don't make them like they used to. The car comes with its original build notes, rolling chassis bill of sale, original Rolls-Royce 25/30 handbook, and a box file full of historical documentation. It was last sold in 2009 for £36,500, making our asking price of just £34,990 seem exceptional value some 17 years later. It is believed the car spent a considerable period in the United States before returning to the UK in 1994. The vehicle is currently located in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, with my father, conveniently close to the ferry terminal. Part exchange considered, whether classic or modern. We can also recommended a good transport company if required.
